Roger Graef

Roger Graef is a writer and broadcaster best known for his pioneering ‘fly on the wall’ films, most notably ‘Police’, his series on the Thames Valley Constabulary for BBC television. (It was Graef in that series who exposed the harrowing way in which rape victims are interviewed, forcing a change in police practice.) His most recent documentary, ‘Turning the Screws’, focused on conditions in Wandsworth Prison. He writes regularly in the national press on criminal justice, architecture and planning, and communications.
