Clare Faulkner is a graphic designer and illustrator. She is the author and illustrator of The Cat Lover’s A to Z, The Dog Lover’s A to Z, and The Fashion Classics (2026) and is the illustrator of the bestselling ‘Animal philosophy’ series by Jennifer McCartney, including The Little Book of Sloth Philosophy.
Lucy Freegard
Lucy has an MA in children’s book illustration from Cambridge School of Art, a degree in illustration from Cardiff School of Art & Design and did her art foundation at Falmouth University. Since graduating in 2015 Lucy has worked on a range of projects, from writing and illustrating picture books to designing soft toys and greetings cards.Lucy uses pen and watercolours, and loves sketching from life and eavesdropping at the zoo. She is based in Bristol.
Polly Faber
As well as being the author of renowned children’s series Mango and Bambang, Polly Faber is a children’s book blogger and volunteer reading helper through the charity Beanstalk. With her family, she looks after her very own tiny free library outside their house in North London.
