Lucie is sick of toiling away night and day, putting her personal life on hold, all in service of landing her dream job as a movie producer – So, when a happy accident offers her the chance to fly to New York and work on a major script she’s determined not to let anything, or anyone, stand in her way…

Elliot is underappreciated and overqualified, and he knows that making the script as success will finally land him a long overdue promotion. The last thing he wants is some upstart amateur from London swooping in to get in his way.

As they’re forced to work together on late-night rewriters and magical movie moments, these Elliot and Lucie realise they might just have more common ground and shared passion than they ever could have imagined.

But, not everyone is rooting for them to succeed, and just as sparks being to fly they find both their relationship and dreams tested in ways they never could have imagined.

Will these two reluctant allies be able to script their very own happily-ever-after, or will this love story end in tragedy?

Elizabeth Drummond grew up and studied in Yorkshire, attaining a degree in English Literature from Sheffield University before moving to New York for a year post-graduation. It was in New York she learned she was nothing like Carrie Bradshaw so upon her return to England she moved to London where she forged a successful career as a film distribution executive. Although her experiences on film sets and corporate boardrooms could fill multiple books with scandal alone, Elizabeth’s first novel The Reunion is mostly filled with light-hearted humour and romance. Elizabeth lives in Essex with her husband and two daughters.
