Online scams have become a part of everyday life. Texts about a delivery you never ordered. Calls from your bank. Emails demanding your details. Money, information and identity siphoned away by anonymous strangers.

Is it a surprise to learn that those causing chaos to acquire ill-gotten gains are most often teenagers and school children? That every day, scammers are innovating and changing their methods to avoid police detection? That TikTok and Instagram are hotbeds for criminal activity, where money mules are regularly recruited and blueprints for rookie fraudsters are rife?

Through his groundbreaking undercover investigations, Kafui Okpattah opens up the sleazy and scandalous world of the online scam by exposing the methods, motivations and machinations of these cyber criminals.

After reading this book, you’ll be ready when the scammers come for you.
