John Broadley is the illustrator of While You’re Sleeping and We’re Going Places. His work, mostly created using pen and ink and collage, appears in several historical and cookery titles, as well as magazines including the Spectator, The New Yorker and the New York Review of Books. John has also worked with retailers and restaurants, including Fortnum & Mason, The Fine Cheese Company, Liberty London, Berry Bros & Rudd and Quo Vadis.
William Bee was born in London, but now lives in the English countryside. As well as writing and illustrating children’s books, he races a vintage sports car, is an international skier, and when at home tends his lawns and meadow.

Mandy Byatt lives in Cheshire and is currently studying for an MA in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, whilst working in marketing communications. She has been shortlisted in the Gransnet/HQ novel competition and Woman & Home short story competition as well as longlisted in the HWA/Sharpe Books Unpublished Novel Award and Orange Pathé screenwriting competition. She was also a winner of a Radio 5 Live monologue competition. Just Another Liar is her debut novel.
JESS BRADLEY is an award-winning illustrator and writer living in Devon. She has drawn many books and comics about science, superheroes and giant monsters and is also a regular contributor to The Phoenix comic. She works from her home studio, and likes drawing in her sketchbooks, reading, playing video games and watching cartoons with her son.
