His science background is in maths and engineering. He is married and lives in Buckinghamshire.

The author of ‘Titan’ and ‘Moonseed’, Stephen Baxter is the most ambitious, most acclaimed, and most accomplished of a new generation of scientifically trained authors who are expanding the vision of science fiction and taking it to a new golden age.
