Janette Manrara was born in Miami, Florida to a fun filled and loving Cuban family and it was evident from the very beginning that she was born to perform!She danced all her life, including at the 2010 Academy Awards with Jennifer Lopez and on the hit TV series Glee, then in 2013, she was cast as a Professional Dancer on Season 11 of Strictly Come Dancing, first partnering with fashion designer Julien Macdonald. Since then Janette has been partnered with Jake Wood, Peter Andre, Melvin Odoom, Aston Merrygold, Dr Ranj ,Will Bailey MBE and most recently reaching the final with HRVY. Janette has won the Strictly Come Dancing, Christmas Special twice; once in 2016 with Melvin and again in 2018 with Aston. 2021 saw Janette take on a new challenge as one of the hosts of It Takes Two. Janette has continued to co-host It Takes Two across 2022 and 2023, alongside co-hosting the Strictly Live tour across the UK.
